Level of technology integration
In the Basic level of technology integration, it mainly talks about using presentation software package. In order to teach any concept teacher can always make use of technology. In this particular Scenario, the teacher uses the presentation software to teach her children about the insects. And if something goes wrong then a teacher can always make little changes to the presentation. Thus the teaching becomes effective with the use of technology.
And Scenario 3.2 talks about using technology will make the workload easy for the teachers. Before teacher uses traditional methods where they make using paper and pencil worksheet. With the arrival of technology, it was replaced and use spreadsheet format. And the teacher can always ask the students to submit through the mail. Thus working load for both teachers and students become easy.
In the middle level of technology integration, technology has been well integrated into the lessons. Though teachers continue to teach in traditional ways, they make use of technology to supplement their teaching methods.
In line with this, scenario 3.6 talks about a teacher using technology, that is an assortment of computer-based activities. Though the teachers are unable to help his weaker students during regular classes, he designs an activities using technology and asks the students to go through when they get free hours. This technology is helping the student to learn
In the high level of technology integration, technology is used by the students in the learning process. And make the child explore and develop thinking and creativity skills. In this level, technology is used to furnish students with information to support their inquiry and investigation process.
Scenario 3.9 talks about allowing the child to use the technology. Where teachers of both the classrooms asked the children to do a joint project in which students will collect the sample local plants, photograph and then describe their places. After completing the collections then asked to send the collected information to the other schools. Here we can see all the works are handed to the students.
Among the three levels of technology integration, middle level is the best learning style for the primary children because in the middle level of technology integration there is the proper lesson planning. It motivates the learners by showing simulation lesson whereby children will be curious to learn. In line with it, the teacher creates or design learning activities in the word document and makes the learning more effective. And teacher gives the instructions for the activities and do the necessary follow up of the activities. Simultaneously do the assessment for the learning and teaching. Thus it is best for the primary children because primary kids are very small to do things on their own and it needs the help of the teachers. Hereby middle level can reach up to their level of learning.
